CMSD 2011 - 2012 session commences

CMSD 2010-2011 session begins on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the JCC
CMSD welcomes all our new and returning members to the 2011-2012 session beginning this Sunday.Please arrive at 8:45 AM and be seated in the auditorium for the Assembly. Our sevaks and sevikas will be waiting to receive you and your children.
All Bala Vihar children must bring their BV bags and books. New students may collect their bags and books from our “Welcome Team” on Sunday starting at 8:30 AM.
Students in Grades PK -2 are requested to bring coloring pencils. All students in grades 1-12 are requested to bring a notebook exclusively for BV and pen/pencil. Please have the students’ names on their bags.
Remember to wear your Chinmaya Jyoti Pledge Button. New members may collect their buttons on Sunday.

Sunday BV/YK Sessions

· BV/YK sessions 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM
· Yuva Sevaks session 11:10 AM - 12:00 noon for grades 9-12
· Language classes 11:10 AM - 12:00 noon for grades 1-8
- Children should wear appropriate (simple, modest) Indian clothing for all sessions and functions of CMSD. Wear a bindi.
- Hair must be neatly groomed and tied away from the face.
- All children are expected to be in their class at the specified time.
- Attendance record will be maintained.
- Most material will be provided to students, but some books may have to be purchased separately.
- Homework will be assigned from time to time to supplement the lessons taught.
