CMSD Eighth Annual Summer Youth Camp for Grades 1-12

Theme: SYMBOLS, SYMBOLS EVERYWHERE; TELL ME WHY I SHOULD CARE!
Date: Monday, June 27th, 2011 - Friday, July 1st, 2011
Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Venue: Community Church of Poway

Registration: $250.00 per child includes camp book, all materials and wholesome vegetarian lunch and snacks.

Camp will focus on the symbolism of Hindu Gods, festivals and puja. The day camp includes stories, value discussions, stotrams, music and bhajans, yoga, Bhagavad Gita- Chapter 15, arts and crafts, and games and activities based on the camp theme.

Camp includes Pujya Guruji’s Sixty first Birthday Celebrations on June 30th with Guru paduka puja performed by the students according to Puja Vidhi.

Camp concludes with a student presentation followed by pot-luck dinner on July 1, 2011 at 6:00 –8:00 PM.
