The Gopi's of Brindavan - were they rustics or mystics? Was their love earthly or godly? The Gopika Gitam, full of lyrical beauty, is from Srimad Bhagavatam, 31st chapter of the 10th book. Pujya Swamiji will transport us to Brindavan through his talks filled with devotion to Sri Krishna.

Swami Shantananda was initiated into Samnyasa in 1992 by his guru, Swami Chinmayananda. After completing the Vedanta training course in 1978, he has been instrumental in building the Chinmaya Mission in Hong Kong, Taiwan and other parts of the world. Swamiji had the rare privilege of serving the Master for almost two years as his personal secretary.

Swamiji is an erudite scholar and has dedicated his life to teaching Vedanta. As a speaker, Swamiji’s talks are filled with wonderful insights into life. During the year 2001, Swamiji conducted fifty Gita jnana yajnas to honor Pujya Gurudev. He has endeared himself to thousands of people who respond instantly to his wisdom and affectionate nature.
